Artist Meri Hite is a jewelry designer and an instructor of Hatha Yoga living in Memphis, Tennessee. Meri's studio is in her home because of her desire to manage her busy household, care for her family, as well as design her creations.
 
Responding to her creative desires, she began designing children's jewelry, which she still creates upon request. Many of her pieces include intricate bead weaving. She is strongly influenced by the natural world and her Southwestern Kansas roots. Today, her jewelry designs represent unique wearable art that compliment and flow into the Cynthia Jean Collection.
 
Meri says, " I feel like this is what I was meant to do. I enjoy making each piece so much that it doesn't feel like 'work'. Someone once told me that I find beauty in ordinary things. I thank God for this gift. "
